Canada’s New Internet Plan Rules: Providers Must Show Realistic Speeds, Latency and Full Prices Starting in 2027
Starting March 10, 2027, Canadian internet providers will face new CRTC rules requiring clearer full prices, realistic download and upload speeds and latency information. The changes are intended to make “up to” speed claims and temporary promotional prices easier for consumers to compare.
