Pacific Link Pipeline Gets National-Interest Status: What Changes for Alberta in 2026
Canada has officially listed the proposed Pacific Link oil pipeline as a project of national interest. The designation accelerates federal review, but it is not final construction approval. The proposal could carry more than one million barrels per day from Alberta toward the B.C. coast if it clears consultation, environmental and regulatory requirements.
