    Alberta Fuel Tax Drops to 0¢ on October 1, 2026: What the 13¢-Per-Litre Relief Means for Drivers

    Alberta will stop collecting its 13-cent-per-litre provincial tax on gasoline and diesel on October 1, 2026. The zero rate will remain in place until at least December 31, while the province continues using its oil-price-based fuel tax relief formula.
